Weather: 63 degrees, 69%, NE6 m.p.h., H.I. 63 degrees. Again with at least three
area races this weekend many had to choose which to run. Many regulars were
absent but the overall turnout was bigger than last year and the weather was better
too. The main problem was running over\around the numerous cracks, potholes,
bumps in the first and last 1/4 mile of the race. Anyone know what our politicans
are doing with the millions made off the lottery that was supposed to go to roads
and schools? It seems both are going down the toilet! Sorry about not everyone
having the correct time or a time at all, maybe we should have a class on when to
Start\Stop our watches in a race. Being we don't have the chip system it should be
from the gun to the Finish Line no matter where one starts or wanted to run. Most
of those with ? marks had no time written down or ones that were so way off I
had to leave it unposted. Maybe we should start video taping our races to keep
everyone on the same page?<G>
