Weather: 53 degrees, 89%, NE12 m.p.h. Thanks to the Stingrays for putting on an
excellant race today. A fairly good turnout on such a big parade weekend. Although
it was cool and windy the post race party was great with an over abundance of food
including Hot Wings, pasta salad, oranges, apples, bananas, grapes, Abita beer,
super good brownies (ask Jerry....), cookies, muffins, donuts, soft drinks and water.
Too bad many of the regulars didn't turn out thus leaving lots of food and t-shirts left
over. Next year should be better with Mardi Gras being a lot later in the year. Some
age groups had little or no competition, especially the younger ones. There's still
lots of time and races left to join CTC and earn lots of Grand Prix points.
