Weather: 71 degrees, 81%, SSE3 m.p.h., Heat Index 75 degrees. Cooler weather than last year again
seemed to help some get more PR's and no other race made for a bigger turnout this year. CTC's
own version of "living history volunteers" imprinted on the t-shirts made for lots of conversation.
Unique to say the least and a collectors piece. As drinking beer or having fun in a cemetary is
forbidden (why, when that's how some of them got there to begin with!<G>) the party was
transferred to Sid Torres Park as in previous years. Sandwiches, drinks, cookies, Elmer's cheese
snacks, soft drinks, beer, music and lots of our "favorite mother" (Rosemary) made for humourous
party and awards ceremony. Something about that mike in her hand makes a wild animal out of
her! ROFL! Great job again by all our volunteers was much appreciated by all. Anyone notice they
cut down our big crawfish boil shade tree?
